Discover Our Mountain Majesty

Talk show super-star Oprah Winfrey once said that St. Lucia's two majestic volcanic plugs, the fabled twin peaks of Gros Piton and Petit Piton, located south of Soufrière and situated in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are among the top ten things to have in your "bucket list." We couldn't agree more! Every time returning visitors see the Pitons, they often remark that it seems like they are seeing them for the first time, every sighting is mind-blowing. On a full-day excursion to the Pitons, you can hike all the way to the top, noticing everything from the orchids, the hummingbirds, the butterflies, the canopy of trees and one of the most spectacular views you will ever encounter.

Come for the Tri St. Lucia

November 07, 2017

Join us in sunny St. Lucia on November 18th for our annual triathlon, the Tri St. Lucia. Every year, athletes come from far and wide to compete in the triathlon, and this year, there will be three distances from which to choose: The Dagger, which consists of a 200-meter swim, 6.6 km bike ride, and a 2.5 km run, the Pistol, with a swim of 750 meters, a 13.2 km bike ride, and a 5K run, and the Cutlass, with its 1500 meter swim, a 26.4 km bike ride, and a 10K run. This year, each distance can also be entered by an individual, or by a relay team.

There will also be special events for children, and multiple prizes will be awarded, including the Ollie Gobat Memorial Award for Special Achievement for those who were born in St. Lucia and perform with excellence. The Landings is the official race hotel and the main race headquarters. The swim start and the transition area will be on the hotel beach, and the triathlon swim in the Caribbean Sea.
